If you’re looking for a special place for your child to go home to after school, Maxi’s is that place. Our goal since we opened in 2009 has been to help children grow academically and become responsible caretakers of a peaceful, healthy world. We’ve seen many generations of Maxi’s children become caring community members, and they still cherish their time at Maxi’s. We look forward to meeting your family.

The world is a big place. Children experience new cultures through art, dance, stories, and music activities that bring faraway places to life.
Our Program
We provide a calm and fun environment with a balance of homework time and lots of activities. We garden, do art and science projects, learn about new subjects, go on neighborhood walks, have time for free play, and get lost in books.
Our program is developmentally appropriate for K-5.

Before we found Maxi’s, we used to send her to “bigger” daycares like Peninsula Day Care and YMCA but the quality of care provided was not satisfactory to us because they have too many kids! As the saying goes, “You pay peanuts, you get monkey!” The bigger daycare centers may be cheaper but we decided that we would rather pay slightly more at Maxi’s if we can get excellent quality and attention for our daughter.

We are so fortunate to have found the After School Program. Maxi’s is not like a typical after school. Here, the kids are not just playing while waiting for their parents to pick them up. Maxi’s staff (Fariba and Zoe) help them with their homework, teach them math, science, art work, good manners and much more. The ladies are very kind and caring. Maxi’s After School Program has everything that parents have wished for.

About Us
Auntie Fariba
I am an engineer and I have raised two wonderful children of my own. When my children were young, I ran a small daycare for 8 years. I still keep in touch with many of those families. I have served as a classroom assistant and tutor, and I am trained to teach classes on virtue to children.
Auntie Zoe
I have two master’s degrees in literature, and I am a mother of three. While my children were young, I worked at primary schools helping students with special needs. I love kids. I love to help them not only to be good academically, but to become kind and responsible members of society.
